I was lucky enough to collaborate with Forever 21 to show you guys what I will be wearing this fall! They sent me some amazing pieces that you can still wear now while it’s still hot and then transition those pieces into your fall wardrobe! Fall is slowly but surely approaching us! September through December are the best four months of year! You have football (Roll Tide), Halloween, Thanksgiving, and the best of them all..CHRISTMAS ! With all the tailgates and family gatherings coming up, you want to have the perfect items so that you don’t have to buy a whole new wardrobe. With one simple turtle neck, I want to show you how you can use one item of clothing and make three outfits out of it. I live in Alabama so, we won’t see any weather change until about mid October. With my first outfit, I wore a multi colored turtleneck and paper bag light washed shorts and classic Chuck Taylor’s. It was so hot that day but I didn’t get too warm because of how light the shirt was. It is a very thin material so it’s great for layering. Paperback shorts are becoming a new obsession of mine. I always have a hard time finding shorts that fit around the waist but not too tight in my butt and hip area. These have elastic in the waist area so that it stays secure without having to wear a belt. They are very comfortable, as well, so you’re not digging out wedgies all day. To make that transition into the second outfit, I changed the shorts and put on a nice and easy dress! What I like about this dress is that it’s not short and tight but it’s still flattering for any body type. It hugs in all the right places.
I kept the same shoes on but I would also put on a pair or nice boots to change up the look.
The next outfit screams fall to me. I changed into some high waisted pants from Urban Outfitters and put on a brown corduroy jacket. I got this jacket in a size medium so that it could be a little over sized and not so tight. In the Fall and Winter time, you’re going to be layering pieces. So, I don’t want to have a jacket that is so tight to the point where I can’t move if I decide to wear more than one shirt underneath. I put on a brown belt and my favorite brown boots from H&M to complete the look.
